MAC HUE DUPE

Excuse the mess of the lipstick, it's kind of broke!

Natural Collection Sheer Natural Lipstick in Lotus, Mac Glaze Lipstick in Hue

I was sat at my desk the other day, swatching all my lipsticks when I made this new discovery. Coincidently, I swatched these two next to each other and realised how similar they are, so I thought I would blog about it. I'm not a huge fan of Hue anymore as it's totally not my colour, but I know a lot of people do. Some people love the shade, but not the price tag. Natural Collection lipsticks are I think £1.99 but they don't seem to be on the Boots website anymore. Swatched next to each other, you can see the similarities. Hue is a shade darker than lotus, but look more similar on your lips. You do have to reapply them both a few times throughout the night. They both feel the same on your lips, quite moisturising.  Over all I think this is a good dupe for a fraction of the price!

CHLOE REVIEWS: NATURAL COLLECTION LIPSTICKS!

Hey guys, so I did say in my last post (a link to my Twitter) that it was going to be a quick post but as it's a Sunday night, I thought I might as well do a review for you all!

What the website says - For some reason, Boots don't sell these lipsticks on their website. I have two types of their lipsticks, Moisture Shine and Sheer Natural Lip Colour, so I'm going to write what it says on the back of each lipstick.
Moisture Shine - High shine lipstick that gently moisturises the lips.
Sheer Natural Lip Colour - Sheer nude lipstick for a beautifully natural look.

Texture and Pigmentation - They glide on really nicely and they all have pretty good pigmentation for what they are. The red is a matte finish, but the other two have some shimmer in, but not a lot. The shades I have Crimson (1st, Moisture Shine), Lotus (2nd, Sheer Natural Lip Colour) and Caramel(last, Moisture Shine).

Scent - If I am honest, the only scent they have to them is the same as any other lipstick.

Packaging and Price - The packaging is nice for the price, I'm a poet and I didn't know it ;-) When I look at the packaging, for some strange reason it reminds me a Spring. The shades I have are the colours I then to go for in the Spring also, maybe that is why haha. These are £1.99 from Boots, but as I said, you can only get them in stores.

Have you tried these lipsticks? Let me know!

Happy Reading!

BLOGUARY - CHLOE REVIEWS:- NATURAL COLLECTION CREAM BLUSH - DAY 21!

Hey guys, welcome to Bloguary day 21! I'm sorry this post has gone up late today, I went back to college yesterday and had some work to do. But anyway, I've had this since Summer '11 and used it as an everyday blusher back then and loved it. So I thought I'd try it again for you guys to see if I loved it just as much!

What the website says:- This cream blush isn't on the boots website anymore. I'm not sure if this has been discontinued, but I do see this sometimes when I go into boots, so you might be lucky to get your hands on this.

Texture and Pigmentation:- The texture is very light on the skin and drys reasonably quick. I have oily skin and this doesn't seem to move around. The pigmentation is okay, which is what I like about this blush. I don't wear blush very often and when I do, I don't want it to be bright and in your face. I like it to be subtle and barely there, which is what this does. It gives you a slight hint of colour which balances and brightens your face. The colour is buildable though.

Scent:- This smells a little like foundation. It's not a strong overwhelming smell, I think it smells quite nice actually. The smell doesn't effect the product though.

Packaging and Price:- The packaging is a little tacky but you get what you pay for with the packaging. The product defiantly makes up for packaging. The price is £1.99 and you can get this from Boots.
