MARCH FAVORITES!

Hey guys, March favorites post today! Sometimes I feel like I keep repeating some of the products that I put in my favorites posts, but I don't really change up my products much! Anywho, on with the favorites..

Clinique High Impact Mascara - I received this sample size mascara in a magazine recently, and I have grown quite fond of this guy! There seems to be a nice bond going on between the mascara and my eyelashes as they really do seem to lengthen them which is what I look for in a mascara. I think I might look into buying this mascara full size! You can get this from Debenhams for £16.00.

Benefit They're Real Mascara - This mascara was on my Christmas list and I really did have high hopes for it. I thought that it would separate my lashes and lengthen them. Although it did separate them, it didn't lengthen them as much as I would of liked. However, I find that this is a great bottom lash mascara. It doesn't flake and it doesn't smudge which I find great. I do sometimes use this to separate my top lashes sometimes too! You can get this from Debenhams for £18.50.

MAC Paintpot in Painterly and Urban Decay Primer Potion - The reason I'm writing about these together is because I recently started using them together in my everyday makeup routine. So we are now in Spring and it feels like every man and their dog are cutting their grass because my hay fever has been going crazy. My eyes start running, making me look like I'm crying at people all the time and I sneeze like crazy. I have found that using the Primer Potion first and then the Paintpot that my eyeshadow and winged eyeliner stays on through all of my 'watery eye moments'. You can get MAC Paintpots from MAC for £14.50 and Urban Decay Primer Potion from Debenhams for also £14.50.

Urban Decay Liquid Liner in Perversion and any dried up/empty felt-tip liner - UD Liquid Liner has been my go to liner since Christmas 2010. They don't do it no more, but apparently the 24/7 waterproof liquid liner is the same. If you have tried them both, please let me know below! Anyway, I find that using a felt-tip liner gives me more control of the line and making my winged liner a much quicker job.

Maybelline Dream Matte Powder - If you read my posts then you will known that I have oily skin. So in a powder I look for it to be either matte or generally for oily skin. This does the job and also comes with a compact mirror and a little powder puff. You can get this from Superdrug and Boots for £7.19.

Urban Decay Eyeshadows in Virgin, Sin, Toasted and Hustle - All these shadows are in the original Naked palette. These are the shadows I use daily and switch up between Virgin or Sin all over the lid and Toasted or Hustle in the crease. You can get the Naked palette from Debenhams for £36.00.

Hope you all enjoyed reading about my favorites! If there is anything you would like a review on, please just let me know below. What's you're beauty favorites this month?

CHLOE REVIEWS: RIMMEL GLAM'EYES QUAD EYESHADOW IN BOLD BEHAVIOUR

Hey guys, so I know it's been a while since i posted, but I wasn't in the mood to blog and I thought what's the point in writing a post if you're not in the mood to do it? So now that I am in the blogging mood, I'm going to do a few so that there won't a be a big gap of no posts like last week. In my last post, I asked you all if you wanted to see some of my photography and some of you said you would, so that will be the next post which i promise will be up sometime this week. Thank you for being patient with me! Anyway, on with this review..

What the website says - 'Glam’Eyes and gorgeous – now’s the time to start having fun with your eyes. Rimmel have made eyeshadow more exciting with their powerful silken powder formula that glides onto eyes smoothly and blends effortlessly. Your perfect shade will last as long as you can, neither creasing nor fading, making it the perfect long-wear eyeshadow. Experiment and get playful with 49 London inspired colours. And for an extra bonus, we’ve joined forces with our international make up artist Liz Pugh to put together an at-a-glance professional application advice piece developed for each individual shade. So with all that expertise literally at your fingertips, it’s impossible to go wrong.

Texture and Pigmentation - These shadows are soft but there is quite a bit of fall out i found. I really do like these colours and the main reason I bought them was because I wanted to try out bright colours on my eyes and try to make them wearable. I couldn't do this because I found that there is little pigmentation with these apart from the dark purple. You really do have to build up the colour with shadows which is a shame.

Scent - There is little scent to these, if anything they smell a little powdery.

Packaging and Price - The packaging is pretty slim and sleek. The thing I like the most about the packaging is that on the back, Rimmel have put a numbered guide on how to apply the shadows to get the right look. The price is £6.99 from Boots.

WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE MY PHOTOGRAPHY?

Hey guys! So as you might know I'm in my 2nd and final year of college doing photography, and I was just wondering if you would like me to do posts on them every now and again. For example, I took some shots the other day with my mam at a reservoir. So if you would like to see some and if you like this idea, please let me know below!

CHLOE REVIEWS: NATURAL COLLECTION LIPSTICKS!

Hey guys, so I did say in my last post (a link to my Twitter) that it was going to be a quick post but as it's a Sunday night, I thought I might as well do a review for you all!

What the website says - For some reason, Boots don't sell these lipsticks on their website. I have two types of their lipsticks, Moisture Shine and Sheer Natural Lip Colour, so I'm going to write what it says on the back of each lipstick.
Moisture Shine - High shine lipstick that gently moisturises the lips.
Sheer Natural Lip Colour - Sheer nude lipstick for a beautifully natural look.

Texture and Pigmentation - They glide on really nicely and they all have pretty good pigmentation for what they are. The red is a matte finish, but the other two have some shimmer in, but not a lot. The shades I have Crimson (1st, Moisture Shine), Lotus (2nd, Sheer Natural Lip Colour) and Caramel(last, Moisture Shine).

Scent - If I am honest, the only scent they have to them is the same as any other lipstick.

Packaging and Price - The packaging is nice for the price, I'm a poet and I didn't know it ;-) When I look at the packaging, for some strange reason it reminds me a Spring. The shades I have are the colours I then to go for in the Spring also, maybe that is why haha. These are £1.99 from Boots, but as I said, you can only get them in stores.

Have you tried these lipsticks? Let me know!

Happy Reading!

CHLOE REVIEWS: COLLECTION 2000 COLOUR INTENSE TRIO IN 8. LEMON TROPICS!

Hey guys, another review for you all to spy with your little eyes! I've had this since the Summer of 2011, so I thought I would give you a little review on it as it's bright colours are suitable for Spring/Summer to add a pop of colour in your makeup routine!

What the website says -
-Intense colour eye shadow in 3 easy to blend shades.
- Softly shimmering contemporary shades.
- Crease resistant for a fresh look that lasts.'

Texture and Pigmentation - The texture of these shadows are very soft and velvety. They go on very smoothly but in the yellow shade, there is very little pigmentation pay off as you can tell from the swatch below. It took me a couple of swipes to get the little pigmentation I did. The green and blue have nice colour pay off, but it didn't bother me that there was little pigmentation in the yellow because I knew I was never going to use it.

Scent - There is pretty much no scent, apart from the little powdery smell you get with most shadows anyway.

Packaging and Price - The packaging it pretty bulky for only three shadows, but it fits in pretty snugly in my eye shadow draw. The packaging doesn't bother me though. The price is £2.99 from Boots or Superdrug.

Have you got your hands on this trio or any other shades from the collection? Let me know what you think below"

Happy Reading,

FEBRUARY FAVORITES!

Hey guys, it's favorites times again! It doesn't seem that long ago I sat down to write about my January Favorites, how time flies!

Rimmel Glam'Eyes Quad Eye Shadow in 014 Bold Behavior - I have been using the dark purple/grey colour in my crease lately with Urban Decay Naked all over the lid and I absolutely love it! I don't use the other colours as they are bold and scare me a little haha, maybe one day though. You can get this from Boots for £6.99.

Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Liner - I've had this for a while and didn't like it in the beginning. I persevered with it and now I've come to love it! I never thought I would be a lover of gel liner! If you have oily lids, set it with a black eye shadow to avoid transfer. You can get this from Boots for £5.99.

Models Own Lip Gloss in Pure Plum - I picked this up in Boots I think sometime before Christmas as there was a deal on, if you bought 2 bottle of Diet Coke (I hate full fat Coke! I'm strange, I know) you get this lipgloss free! I would be a fool not to dash at the chance to try a Models Own product for free! I'm so glad I did, I love it. They don't have this exact colour no more, but there are plenty of others to try from Boots for £6.

Inika Certified Organic Eyeliner in Graphite - This came free with Marie Claire magazine last summer and I never really got round to using it until this month. I wanted something a little softer than a black for my waterline as I ran out of my brown liner so i resorted to this, and I love it! I have a review on it here. You can get this from Inika website for £11.75.

E.L.F Powder Brush - I've had this for a little over a year now and not a day has gone past that I haven't used it, whether it's for foundation, powder or blush. It's easy to clean, even though mine is dirty on the photo ;-) It has never shed on me either. I have a review on it here. You can get this for £3.50 from E.L.F.

Lancome Hypnose Doll Eyes Mascara - I was given this at Christmas but only opened it this month as I wanted to make sure I didn't waste any of it, especially as it is a luxury product for me! As I always say when writing about mascaras, I still haven't found my perfect mascara, but this is the closest I have got to finding it so far! You can get this from Debenhams for £18.90.

The Hunger Games - I bought this just over 2 weeks ago but only started reading it last night and already it has gotten into my favorites. I've known about the books for well over a year, but only just got round to buying them. I can't wait for it to come out in the cinema! You can get this from Amazon for £4.50.

I hope you've enjoyed reading about my favorite bits and bobs of the month! If you would like a review on anything that I haven't reviewed yet, then please let me know and I will happily do it for you :-) What are your favorites this month?
