AVON PERFECT KISS LIPSTICK IN DEEP ORCHID

£8.50 from Avon.
I've been looking for a colour like this for so long, without having to rob a bank to buy a highend lipstick that is. This lipstick is very moisturising lipstick and I would say that it is a satin finish. As you can see from the swatch the pigmentation is great, very full coverage. On my lips, this lipstick lasted about 2 - 3 hours without re-applying. It has a subtle sweet smell in the tube, which doesn't transfer onto your lips. This lipstick comes in 23 shades on the website. I think the packaging does have quite a highend feel to it. I like that you can use the lid of the lipstick as a mirror while you apply on the go! I would definitely buy this range of lipstick again and would totally recommend to any of you!

AVON COLOR TREND KISS N GO LIPSTICK IN ORANGE YOU SWEET

£3.75 from Avon.
It feels like I haven't written a review in years, so I thought I would review a lipstick I have recently got my hands on. These lipsticks are rich and creamy and I would say they last about 2 hours on your lips without applying again. I have the colour Orange You Sweet which is a pretty vibrant orange colour, but you can make it shear if you like. The pigmentation is great for the price.

I love the smell of these lipsticks! It's quite a sweet scent with a hint of that typical lipstick smell. There are 15 shades of lipstick with a few limited edition shades, I think I have about 2 or 3 of these.
I think the packaging is alright for the price, it keeps out all the fluff and bits when you chuck it in your bag. What more do you want? I think this is a good product for the price. I think the pigmentation and longevity is great. It's also great if you just want to pick up a few summer shades but you don't want to spend a fortune!

TOP LIP PRODUCTS OF THE MOMENT!

As it has been a while since I've posted, I thought I would give you a little update on what lip products I have been loving at the minute. Even though two of them are not really summery colours, I think it's okay to not play by the rules sometimes!

1. Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Crush - £5.99 from Boots.
I received this as a Christmas present and haven't put it down since. This is a always in my bag and pretty much take it anywhere with me. Sometimes I layer it with something bright just to tone it down a little!

2. Collection Cream Puff Lip Cream in Cotton Candy - £2.99 from Boots.
I used this a lot last summer and it is surprising still going strong, I thought it would of dried out by now! This is one of those 'your lips but better' colours for those days when you don't want anything too in your face.

3. Rimmel Kate Matte Lipstick in 107 - £3.50 from Asos.
When I first bought this lipstick, I was a bit scared of the colour and thought that I had wasted my money. Using this with a light hand, you can make the colour quite subtle and then gradually apply more to get the colour you feel most comfortable with.

4. Barry M Lip Paint in 151 - £4.49 from Boots.
I bought this colour a while ago but I didn't really use it that much. I was getting ready to go out for a family meal, no where posh so I thought that I would wear something different on my lips for a change. I pick this out of my lipstick stand and put it back, pick it up and put it back again. I then thought 'what the hell' and just applied it. Since then, we have become the best of friends!

I hope you've enjoyed reading! I will be posting new content once or twice a week, so come back soon to see if there is anything new. Please follow my blog via BlogLovin, there is a little follow widget on my blog! What are you favourite lip products at the minute? Let me know in the comments section!

MAC HUE DUPE

Excuse the mess of the lipstick, it's kind of broke!

Natural Collection Sheer Natural Lipstick in Lotus, Mac Glaze Lipstick in Hue

I was sat at my desk the other day, swatching all my lipsticks when I made this new discovery. Coincidently, I swatched these two next to each other and realised how similar they are, so I thought I would blog about it. I'm not a huge fan of Hue anymore as it's totally not my colour, but I know a lot of people do. Some people love the shade, but not the price tag. Natural Collection lipsticks are I think £1.99 but they don't seem to be on the Boots website anymore. Swatched next to each other, you can see the similarities. Hue is a shade darker than lotus, but look more similar on your lips. You do have to reapply them both a few times throughout the night. They both feel the same on your lips, quite moisturising.  Over all I think this is a good dupe for a fraction of the price!

CHLOE REVIEWS: NATURAL COLLECTION LIPSTICKS!

Hey guys, so I did say in my last post (a link to my Twitter) that it was going to be a quick post but as it's a Sunday night, I thought I might as well do a review for you all!

What the website says - For some reason, Boots don't sell these lipsticks on their website. I have two types of their lipsticks, Moisture Shine and Sheer Natural Lip Colour, so I'm going to write what it says on the back of each lipstick.
Moisture Shine - High shine lipstick that gently moisturises the lips.
Sheer Natural Lip Colour - Sheer nude lipstick for a beautifully natural look.

Texture and Pigmentation - They glide on really nicely and they all have pretty good pigmentation for what they are. The red is a matte finish, but the other two have some shimmer in, but not a lot. The shades I have Crimson (1st, Moisture Shine), Lotus (2nd, Sheer Natural Lip Colour) and Caramel(last, Moisture Shine).

Scent - If I am honest, the only scent they have to them is the same as any other lipstick.

Packaging and Price - The packaging is nice for the price, I'm a poet and I didn't know it ;-) When I look at the packaging, for some strange reason it reminds me a Spring. The shades I have are the colours I then to go for in the Spring also, maybe that is why haha. These are £1.99 from Boots, but as I said, you can only get them in stores.

Have you tried these lipsticks? Let me know!

Happy Reading!

BLOGUARY - CHLOE REVIEWS:- MUA LIPSTICK - DAY 10!

Hey guys, welcome to Bloguary day 10! I've had these for a while so I've made sure I tested them out enough before I reviewed them for you all!

What the website says:- 'Make a statement with our show stopping lip stick, available in 16 shades. Make Up Academy provides trend shades on a budget, allowing you to achieve the latest looks without breaking the bank!'

Texture and Pigmentation:- I find that these lipsticks are very moisturizing which I think is amazing, especially at this price and from the drugstore! The pigmentation is different for each lipstick I think. My red one is very pigmented, moisturizing and long wearing. The pink one isn't so pigmented or long wearing, but it is just as moisturizing if not a little more.

Scent:- There isn't really a scent to these lipstick. This is a good thing as I hate the old smelling lipsticks that were around years ago!

Packaging and Price:- The packaging is good for the price. I think that it has got some elegance to it and it isn't bulky. You can pick these up from the MUA website or at Superdrug for £1.00.

I hope you've enjoy Bloguary day 10, have you tried these lipsticks? :-)
