NAKED 2 PALETTE

Unless you have been living under a rock for the past year, you would of heard about Urban Decay's Naked 2 palette. This is the second of the naked palette (hence the name) and has more cooler tones than the first. This comes with a doubled ended brush, a flat shader and a crease brush. It also comes with a sample size Lip Junkie lip gloss in Naked. It took me a while to finally get my hands on this palette, but I have literally used it every single time I've worn makeup. This is the second time I have jumped on the Naked palette bandwagon, and once again haven't regretted it. The shadows are highly pigmented and have a silk-like feel to them. I find them easy to blend and if you tap you're brush, you hardly get any fall out. They have no scent as you would expect from an eyeshadow. It comes with 12 shades and five exclusive new shades. The shadows are (L - R):

I prefer the packaging of the Naked 2 to the original. The original seemed to attract mess and didn't seem as durable as the second. The fact that it's metal kind of gives it that high-end feel. I love this palette and I prefer it to the original as I like the cooler shades in it. Something that I don't like about it is the fact that they both have Half Baked in them. I understand that it's a popular shade but I think that there should be another matte in it. Other than that, it is amazing and I can over look this haha. I would totally recommend it to anybody and if for some reason I manage to use it all up, I would buy this palette again. Thanks for reading, have you tried this palette? What do you think of it? CHLOE REVIEWS: MUA EYE SHADOW IN SHADE 2 - PEARL

Ahoy there readers, another review for you all today. It's a very affordable product that you'll just keep finding yourself going back for more shades like I did! Carry on reading if you want to find a highly pigmented eye shadow at a high street price!

What the website says - 'Single eyeshadows that are super high pigmented, smooth and easy to apply are the must-have item from MUA. They’re the barga-licious price of just £1 each and they come in 34 amazing shades from brights to natural colours. Create a dramatic look with three or four in one look, or simply sweep one across the eye for a wash of colour. Omg, we just love these eyeshadows! You could even use some of them as blushers! The looks you could create are endless… go on, collect them all!'

Texture and pigmentation - I feel like I say this every time I review eye shadows, but this eye shadow is soft and velvety. I haven't experienced any fall out surprisingly. The pigmentation is incredible for the price and for that fact that it's a drugstore/high street product. I use this to brighten up the inner corner of my eye and highlight my brow bone everyday and sometimes use it as a facial highlighter.

Scent - I personally, think that this smells like your typical eye shadow. No scent meaning that there shouldn't be any irritation for your eyes.

Packaging and price - Because of the price of this product, I don't think anyone should expect the packaging to be incredible. You can see the product and I think that the product is pretty protected from shattering by the packaging, which is what I would expect from the packaging. The price is..*drum roll* £1! Just £1 for 2g of product, bargain! You can get this in your local Superdrug or from the MUA website.

CHLOE REVIEWS: SLEEK OH SO SPECIAL EYE SHADOW PALETTE

Hello, hope you're all well! I'm currently watching Chicago so I thought while I'm here, I may as well do a post. I hauled this product a few weeks ago, so I've given it a go test and here is what I thought..

We've recently given our i-Divines a makeover! The outer packaging has been updated and the way the eye shadows are pressed are different. They are now pressed flat instead of the original waffle print.'

Texture and pigmentation - The texture is incredibly buttery and soft for a drugstore palette. There is a bit of fall out from the shadows but it's nothing you can't wipe away. The pigmentation is also amazing. There is a mixture of matte and shimmer shadows which is why this palette is right up my street!

Scent - The scent is a powdery smell as you would expect with any eye shadow, so it shouldn't effect any with sensitive eyes. 

Packaging and Price - The packaging has the same classic matte packaging as Nars. This means that it's a bugger at attracting dirt. It's plastic and sleek, as well as durable. You can pick this up from Superdrug or SleekMakeup.com for £6.49.

CHLOE REVIEWS: MAYBELLINE COLOR TATTOO 24HR IN PERMANENT TAUPE

Hey guys, so it's been a while since I've done a review simply because I had to wait to get some products. Over the past 2/3 weeks I've been trying this out and here is what I think of it..


What the website says - 'Dare to wear NEW Color Tattoo 24HR Cream Gel eyeshadow. With up to 24HR staying power. Popping colour that glides on. Get inked!'

Texture and Pigmentation - Other bloggers have compared the texture of the Color Tattoo's to MAC's Paint Pot and I can see where they are coming from. The only thing I would say is different about it is that the Paint Pots are slightly more drying than the Color Tattoo's. The pigmentation is amazing and so is the stay in power. I've been using this in my crease and haven't experienced any creasing or any of that bad stuff and I have very oily lids. That being said, I use Urban Decay Primer Potion under everything.

Scent - The scent of this reminds me of the smell of foundation. There's no smell of perfume or anything so it's good for all of you with very sensitive eyes.

Packaging and Price - The packaging is very similar to Paint Pots too. The lid is glossy and plastic and the pot it'self is glass and very durable. The price is £4.99 which I think is amazing! You can pick this bargin pot from Boots.

Hey guys, so I know it's been a while since i posted, but I wasn't in the mood to blog and I thought what's the point in writing a post if you're not in the mood to do it? So now that I am in the blogging mood, I'm going to do a few so that there won't a be a big gap of no posts like last week. Texture and Pigmentation - These shadows are soft but there is quite a bit of fall out i found. I really do like these colours and the main reason I bought them was because I wanted to try out bright colours on my eyes and try to make them wearable. I couldn't do this because I found that there is little pigmentation with these apart from the dark purple. You really do have to build up the colour with shadows which is a shame.

Scent - There is little scent to these, if anything they smell a little powdery.

Packaging and Price - The packaging is pretty slim and sleek. The thing I like the most about the packaging is that on the back, Rimmel have put a numbered guide on how to apply the shadows to get the right look. The price is £6.99 from Boots.
