Welcome to Bloguary Day 4! These are my 9 favorite beauty products of the month of January and for my 10th favorite (just to make it even ;-) ). I am going to add my favorite book of the month in too! But let's just concentrate on the beauty products for now..
Product #1 - Urban Decay Naked Palette
If you have never heard of this palette, where have you been? This is defiantly an core essential in my everyday make up. I use at least one shadow from the palette everyday. I'm not going to go too much into detail about this palette because there are plenty of reviews about it and I have also done a 'Few Months On..' post about it here. The Naked Palette can be found at Debenhams and other department stores with an Urban Decay counter.
Product #2 - M.A.C Paint Pot in Painterly
This is a very well known product in the beauty community and has many uses. I use mine on top of Urban Decay Primer Potion (product #7) to make my eye shadow last longer on nights out. I revived this for Christmas and has been a massive staple piece in my collection since! You can find Painterly Paint Pot on the M.A.C website or at department stores with a M.A.C counter.
Product #3 - Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Foundation in Biscuit 3
I have recently just done a review on this foundation as I have seen hardly anybody mention this product anywhere! I really do love this foundation, but I won't go as far as saying it's my favorite yet because I'm still looking for my perfect foundation. You can find this foundation at Boots and Superdrug.
Product #4 - Urban Decay 24/7 Glide - On Eye Liner in Zero
With my Naked Palette, I had a this liner but it was doubled ended. One side was Zero and the other was Whiskey. I am so glad that it did come with it otherwise it would of taken me a lot longer to have tried this pencil. It's incredibly creamy and glides on just as it says on the packaging. Another staple piece in my collection! This can be found at Debenhams and other department stores with an Urban Decay counter.
Product #5 - Urban Decay Liquid Liner in Perversion
I revived this for Christmas over a year ago and it's still going! I use this eyeliner near enough every single day. It's the best eyeliner I have used, but I think it has been discontinued! (big sad face!) However, they now have 24/7 Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner, which I am hoping is just like it.. fingers crossed!
Product #6 - M.A.C Lipstick in Hue
This was another product I had for Christmas (I get most of my high end makeup at Christmas). With this being my first M.A.C lipstick, I cannot do a full review with comparison, but I can hands down say that this is my most used and most loved lipstick I have ever used. Its so creamy and moisturizing, that I don't wear a balm underneath or a gloss over the top. It's a lovely, natural colour that it can be used with an everyday makeup look or to tone down a dramatic smokey eye. This can be found on the M.A.C website or at department stores with a M.A.C counter.
Product #7 - Urban Decay Original Primer Potion
This is another product that I revived from Christmas 2010 and still going, but I gladly have a backup of this in the new swanky packaging. I feel lost whenever I forget to take this with me. Even if I'm popping out for just two minutes, I will still makes sure that I put this on before my shadow. I have a lot of loving for this primer! This can be found at Debenhams or department stores with a Urban Decay counter.
Product #8 - Witch Naturally Clear Blemish Stick
I bought this on holiday last year when I had a really bad breakout and the next day the spot was pretty much gone and I just chucked it in a draw when I got home and completely forgot about it. Towards the end of January, I had a big break out 2 days before I had plans to go out and was in need of a quick fix spot treatment. This paired with product #9 did just that. I made sure that I did it before I put my makeup on in the morning and before I went to bed in the night. The spot was near enough gone with just a little redness left, nothing that foundation and a little bit of concealer couldn't sort out. This blemish stick can be found at Superdrug, Boots and some bigger supermarkets.
Product #9 - Clean & Clear Dual Action Moisturizer
I found out about this product while watching one of MissBudgetBeauty's Youtube views early last year as she said it really helps with spots. I saw it in my local Superdrug and tried it. I haven't look back since! I use this as my everyday moisturizer before I put my makeup on so that it sort of acts as a primer. When I have a break out, I pile this over the top of the Blemish stick and the next day you can see the difference it has made! I have very oily skin and most creams, no matter what they are, don't sink into my skin. It just stays on the surface and creates more oil. This cream doesn't do that and I have no idea why, which is one of the main reasons I love it! This can be found at Boots, Superdrug and most Supermarkets.
Book of the Month!

The Further Adventures of a London Call Girl
I know this is a bit of a.. saucy? (is that the right word? oh well it will do!) book to choose. I loved the serice on ITV2 starring the beautiful Billy Piper, and only had the second book for some reason. Luckly enough, I had obviously seen the series so I knew what was happening. I don't want to give away any story from this book, but what I will say is that you will not be able to put this book down! You can get this from Amazon and other booksellers.
I hope you've all enough Bloguary Day 4 and found something new you would like to try from my favorites of the month. What do you think of these products? I would love to know!
