CHLOE REVIEWS: SLEEK BLUSH IN PIXIE PINK

Hey guys!
This post has been requested by some of you guys, so thank you and keep them coming! This was blush was in my Easter haul. As I said, if you have any requests, please let me know!

What the website says: 'A highly pigmented blusher to brighten and define cheekbones. The silky-fine formulation provides long lasting blusher which helps to create a subtle but radiant cheek area.'

Texture, Pigmentation, and Colour - The texture is of a soft, buttery type. It also blends very nicely and easily. It has very high pigmentation, but you can make it as bright or as subtle as you would like as it is very buildable. It is a pretty soft pink, which I think would look nice on all skin tones, especially for fair skin. This lasts pretty much all day without touch ups on my combination to oily skin.

Scent - The only scent to the blush this is just a typical powdery smell. It's nothing off putting and the smell doesn't transfer onto the skin.

Packaging and Price - The packaging is plastic and sturdy with a mirror in the top half. There is a slightly rubbery feel to the packaging which gives it a little bit of high-end feel to it. I must say I have dropped it a few times, I am the clumsy time, and it has survived without shattering, so all in all a good product. The price is £4.30 for 8g of product and you can get this from Sleek UK or Superdrug.

Thank you all for reading guys, if you have tried any Sleek blush, please let me know what you think of them below!

CHLOE REVIEWS: MAC PAINT POT IN PAINTERLY

*
Hey guys!
It's been ages since I've done a review so I thought instead of bombarding you all with 'Wish Away Monday' posts, I'd chuck in a review. I know that post people have this product, but for any of you that are wondering if it's worth the money, then this is the post for you!

What the website says - 'M·A·C Paint Pot. A highly pigmented eye colour that goes on creamy but dries to an intense, vibrant finish. The next generation of a popular M·A·C formula, Paint Pots maintains all the intense traits of its inspiration. Long-wearing, colourfast. Creates seamless coverage without weight or caking. Blends smoothly over the lids. Cream-based, can be mixed with M·A·C shadows and liners. Available in matte and pearl formulas.'

Texture and Pigmentation - The texture is smooth but also drys quite quick. You have to work with this product pretty fast if you are planning on blending it. As this is a nude colour, there isn't much to go on pigmentation as it is just a smudge darker than my skin tone. It works fantastic as a base and a primer. As I have very oily eyelids, I use Urban Decay Primer Potion first and then this and keeps my eye makeup still.

Scent - I think this product doesn't really smell of anything, but if you smell it for a long time (I don't know why you would, but I just did) it smells a little like face paint, but only a little. This scent doesn't smell once you've put it on your eyes.

Packaging and Price - If I'm honest, I think that most people do like MAC's basic packaging. It's sleek, sturdy and elegant, what more could you want? You get 5g of product, which I think is pretty good for the price tag, but I do think that you are paying for the packaging than the product. The price on the MAC UK website is £14.50 but on the  House Of Fraser website it's £13.50! Even though you're only saying a pound, it's better than a poke in the eye! Also, it says that there is only 12 left, so go grab yourself one a pound cheaper!

Hope you've enjoyed this review! Have you tried any paint pots? Let me know what you think below!

DRAMATIC PORTRAIT - WHO DONE IT?

Hey guys!
So as I said in my earlier post, I was going to show you all my final photos from my final project in college. I'm so glad college is over and that I don't have to worry about being behind with anything no more. It's pretty clear to me that education really isn't for me, which is why I am not going to uni. I decided that I wanted to do a murder mystery/Cluedo theme, and I named the project 'Who Done It?'.

I hope you all like them! Please comment below, I would love to know what you think!

I'M BACK!

Hey guys!
So college is finally over and I am back to blog as much as I want, woo! I have a massive list of things to blog about but my first three posts will be 2 'Wish Away Monday's that I have missed out and a photography post of my final shoots from my Dramatic Portrait project.

Hope you have all had a good week! What did you get up to this weekend?
