CIATE MINI MANI MONTH

£38 from Selfridges.

So yesterday I told you guys that I won't be doing Nails Of The Week posts for the month of December because I will be doing Mini Mani Month! This is an advent calender with 24 doors containing a Ciate's best selling nail polish, a Caviar blend or an exclusive polish behind it. It also comes with a funnel for the Caviar blends and an instruction booklet explaining how to use the Caviar beads. I'm so excited to open these doors! This is perfect for any nail polish junky or just for someone special. I will be taking a picture everyday of what I get and uploading it on my Instagram (heyarnoldx) and for those of you that don't have Instagram, I will be doing a blog post on my iPhone so that you can still see what I got! Are you doing Mini Mani Month? Or do you have any of the other beauty advent calenders? Let me know below!

NAILS OF THE WEEK #4

Hey guys!
So the reason this is going up late is because I've been busy trying to sort my sleeping pattern out. For all you guys that don't know, I have pretty bad insomnia and I'm currently writing this at 6.17 AM as I woke up at 3.00 AM which sucks! For the month of December I won't be doing Nails Of The Week and there will be a blog post going up after this one today explaining what I will be doing! Anyway, this is what I had on my nails last week!

Nails #1 - Rimmel 60 Seconds polish in Movie Star with Barry M Nail Paint in Red Glitter on ring finger.

Nails #2 - Rimmel 60 Seconds polish in Movie Star, Rimmel I Heart Lasting Finish polish in Your Majesty with Barry M Nail Paint in Silver Glitter and Rimmel Pro Super Wear topcoat.

Nails #3 - Barry M Nail Paint in Dusky Mauve with Rimmel I Heart Lasting Finish in Your Majesty and Barry M Nail Paint in Silver Glitter.

I noticed in my photos that I don't a good job of cleaning them up before I take a picture haha. My favourite nails this week are nails #2. They are so Christmasy and I'm so looking forward to Christmas! What's been on your nails this week? Have any recommendations? Let me know below!

RIMMEL STAY MATTE PRESSED POWDER

£3.99 from Boots.

As someone who has oily skin, I think it's quite hard to find a powder that doesn't fade away during the day and help keep that oil away. This is the best thing I have found so far! The Rimmel says that it 'Controls shine for up to 12 hours. Minimises the appearance of pores with a natural, matte finish. You won't go out without it!' I think that it does control shine, but not for 12 hours with re applying. I would say 4 - 5 hours before it completely goes on me which I think is pretty reasonable. It does give a lovely matte finish, but make sure you don't apply too much as it can go cakey! It has a typical powdery smell, which is not over powering at all and good for all you people that don't like having a scent on your face. The packaging is okay for the price, but I do find (like you do with most powders) that it tends to crack and break when coming to the end of the product. Is that something to do with the packaging though? This is my second or thrid one so I would defiantly buy it again, but this isn't my favourite powder. I prefer the E.L.F HD Powder (review here) but this is good enough for the time being. I would recommend this to everyone really. If they have you're shade, or if you prefer transparent which I do, then go for it! Have you tried this powder? Do you like it? Let me know below!

THE A - Z OF ME TAG!

The A - Z of Me

Age: 19 years young!
Bed Size: Double bed from Littlewood with a mattress that is incredibly uncomfortable.
Chores you hate: Call me lazy or spoilt, but I don't do chores. My mam asked me to wash my dish up the other day, so I tried.. and smashed a glass everywhere. I think it's a lot safer and cheaper if I stay away from these things haha.
Dogs: I so wish I could have a dog, but my mam is allergic to pretty much everything :-(
Essential start of your day: To help myself wake up, I check my emails, Facebook and Instagram on my phone.
Favourite Colour: Red or purple.
Gold or Silver: I like both really.
Height: 5"2
Instruments I play: I used to play the Penny Whistle at school, did anyone else?
Job Title: Full time unemployed, part time blogger ;-)
Kids: I've only ever bonded with one child. Her name is Faith and she is 3! I'll try to include her in a blog post one day :-)
Live: Pontypool, South Wales.
Mum's name: Julia Margaret Jones.
Nicknames: Chlo, Joey, Soda, Blondebomber, Clover, Clovite and many other names that my mother randomly comes up with.
Pet Peeve: I hate the word moist..like really hate it. I refuse to say the word and it is known as the 'm' word. The word just goes through me and gives me goosebumps. Ew!
Quote from a movie: "I'd rather see you out there shakin' that thang!" - Kevin Gnapoor from Mean Girls.
Right or left handed: I'm a righty!
Siblings: I'm an only child.
Time you wake up: About 11/12, I have really bad insomnia.
Underwear: Girls boxers! I have never wore a thong in my life haha.
Vegetables you dislike: Sprouts, parsnips, swede, celery, sweetcorn, mushrooms, peppers, squash, is that enough haha?
What makes you run late: I like to watch telly while doing my makeup, so deciding what to watch generally makes me late.
X-rays you've had done: On my kidneys and on my teeth.
Yummy food you make: I can't cook, but I can make cakes. I would really like to start making deserts!
Zoo animal: I love monkeys. I love looking at them and realising how much they are like humans. I like looking at the colours of lizards too!

I hope you guys have found a bit more out about me! I tag you all, let me know if you have done it.. I would love to get to know you too!

COLLECTION CREAM PUFF LIP CREAM IN FAIRY CAKE

£2.99 from Boots

For the past few months my love for lip products have grown and grown. I've started a love affair for matte lip products because of this item also. Collection claim that their lip cream are 'velvety soft, matte-finish lip cream. Enriched with a ultra moisturising, vitamin-rich formula, the creamy colour hugs lips to give your pout the perfect powdery finish.' I agree with what the website says. I love the texture and formula, it's not too dry and not too creamy. I find it doesn't dry out my lips, but if you do suffer from chapped/dry lips, I recommend you using a lip balm before you apply this. It has good pigmentation so it glides on like a dream. On my lips, I find this lip cream lasts about an hour and a half to two hours. I love, love, love the smell of this! If you don't like the smell of cakes or sweets on your lips, then you won't like the smell of this cream. But it is easy to look past! I like the packaging. The top has that rubbery texture which is associated with Nars. It gives it that high end feel. I love this lip cream, and would totally recommend it to anyone. I have another one in the shade Cotton Candy which I love just as much. The only downside to this lip cream is that it only has 4 shades. If I could demand for more, I totally would. I would love to see a red shade and a berry colour! Have you tried this lip cream? Let me know below!
