MY TRAVEL MAKE UP BAG!

Hey guys, so tomorrow I go on holiday! No where exciting, but at least it is a little get away from the town that I live in. Anyway, I was sorting out what I wanted to take with me as I'm going for 4 days and I thought I might as well blog about it. So above is what I'm taking all my beauty products in. Yes, I do know this is a bag organizer but I thought that it was perfect to take with me as right at the front is a space to put your brushes. It's big enough to take everything you want to and more for only £3! I got this from Primark recently and thought that it was pretty cute. Anyway, on with what's in it..

 Face
Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation - This was in my recent haul and has quickly become my face's new best friend.

Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer - I don't wear concealer everyday so I'm taking this just in case I get some sort of beasty spot (touch wood I don't!).

Benefit 'That Gal' mini face primer - I've used this once on a night out and the next day I broke out so I have no idea why I'm taking this as I don't want to risk breaking out. I think deep down I'm hoping that it might work this time haha.

Benefit Highbeam mini - I've never really been into highlighting my face but I'm hoping that if I take it on holiday with me and start using it, that I will grow to using it. I will let you all know what happens!

Maybelline Dream Matte Powder - I take this powder to college for touch ups so I'm taking this just to keep in my bag as I expect to be walking a lot.

E.L.F High Definition Powder - This is what I use everyday to set my face and I love it! Having oily skin, sometimes I find that some powders cake on my face, but this doesn't and it also has no colour.

Sleek Blush in Pixie Pink - As I've said before, I'm not into blush much. Now that I have this, I've started to use it everyday just to give my cheeks a little colour.

 Eyes
Urban Decay Naked Palette - I pretty much don't go far without this palette. I will put my hands up and say that I have taken this to college with me once or twice.. yes it was a silly mistake but you never know when you're going to need it haha! I have a review of this here.

Urban Decay Primer Potion - This is the only primer I have tried for my oily lids and I don't plan on trying another one. I love it so much! This is my second tube of it as I get one every Christmas.

Mac Painterly Paint Pot - I used this after apply my primer on my lid and it really does give a nice base for my lids. As I have very watery eyes in the hay fever seasons, this really does help my winged liner stay on all day!

Maybelline 24hr Colour Tattoo - I've saved this to try out on holiday and I haven't even swatched it yet! I really hope this does live up to what people have said about it!

Benefit They're Real Mascara - I use this for my bottom lashes and for when some of my lashes clump together and it really does work for those things. It doesn't flake or smudge on my bottom lashes either.

Clinique High Impact Mascara mini - I got this from Glamour magazine a few months back and I haven't stopped using it since. It does wonders for my lashes.

Urban Decay Liquid Liner - I've had this for over a year now and I think it's in it's final stage of life now. I love this liner and I'll be sad when it's run out so I think I will have to purchase a new liquid liner on holiday.

Lancome Le Crayon Khol Noir - I don't really use anything on my water liner, so I'm taking this so I can have the option. I have a review of this here.

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Pencil - I use this liner for days when I can't be bothered and I need something a little less heavier than black to define my eyes. It really is a nice colour.

Sleek Oh So Special Eye Shadow Palette - This was also in my my recent haul and I've used it everyday since. I love the coral/pinky shades in it which is what I think makes this palette very unique.

Lips
E.L.F Lipstick in Posh - This is a very brave shade for me and I doubt I will wear it but just in case I have brought it. I tried it sheered out today and it looked nice and not to in your face so you never know, I might just wear it.

Collection 2000 Cream Puff Lip Cream in Cotton Candy - I am in love with this lip colour. It's not boring but it isn't bright, it really is just right for everyday. You can even build up the colour for the night if you fancied it!

E.L.F Matte Lip Colour in Tea Rose - I also really love this colour as it's just so wearable and really does go with my skin tone. It's quite drying but if you just keep applying it every now and again, it does moisturize you lips that little bit. I have a review of this here.

MAC Hue Lipstick - This is my first and only MAC lipstick and I like to use it when I go shopping. Don't ask why, I just do so that's the reason I'm taking it haha.

So that's pretty much everything going into this bag. I know I have packed a lot but I have my reasons ;-) I hope you've had a good day and enjoyed reading this slightly lengthy post today haha. There will be reviews on lots of these products coming up soon! What's in your travel makeup bag? :-)

  1. You have a good variety of stuff there. Don't worry, yours is a organizer. I have a big briefcase full of makeup that I carry with me everywhere. Love your post.

I have a tonnnnnnnnnn of makeup, but in my "absolute necessities makeup bag" I guess you could call it, I have Garnier BB Cream, Rimmel Clean Finish Foundation (I don't use both of those at the same time hah), ELF concealer, Femme Couture Mineral Foundation, Bare Minerals Prime Time Oil Controlling Primer, ELF mineral eye shadows in "elegant" and "celebrity", Revlon Grow Lucious Mascara, Loreal Eyeshadow in "brushed beige", rimmel eyeshadow in "smokey brun", ELF Mist and Set(awesome setting spray if you haven't tried it, I also love the HD powder), and of course my brushes/eyelash curler!

I hope that wasn't alot longer than you expected! But awesome post! Check out my blog if you want! :)

  4. Love Healthy Mix foundation has been a staple of mine for ages now. I also really want to try Hue but I don't know if it will be too nude toned for me and wash me out. I also really want to try the E.L.F powder as I want something to set my makeup without making it look like I am wearing powder. x

    1. I recommend you go check them all out, I personally think Hue would suit anyone really! The HD powder I think is really good because even though it's a white powder, there is no colour to it when you put it on your face :-) xo
