CHLOE REVIEWS: MAYBELLINE COLOR TATTOO 24HR IN PERMANENT TAUPE

Hey guys, so it's been a while since I've done a review simply because I had to wait to get some products. Over the past 2/3 weeks I've been trying this out and here is what I think of it..

What the website says - 'Dare to wear NEW Color Tattoo 24HR Cream Gel eyeshadow. With up to 24HR staying power. Popping colour that glides on. Get inked!'

Texture and Pigmentation - Other bloggers have compared the texture of the Color Tattoo's to MAC's Paint Pot and I can see where they are coming from. The only thing I would say is different about it is that the Paint Pots are slightly more drying than the Color Tattoo's. The pigmentation is amazing and so is the stay in power. I've been using this in my crease and haven't experienced any creasing or any of that bad stuff and I have very oily lids. That being said, I use Urban Decay Primer Potion under everything.

Scent - The scent of this reminds me of the smell of foundation. There's no smell of perfume or anything so it's good for all of you with very sensitive eyes.

Packaging and Price - The packaging is very similar to Paint Pots too. The lid is glossy and plastic and the pot it'self is glass and very durable. The price is £4.99 which I think is amazing! You can pick this bargin pot from Boots.

I hope you've enjoy this long awaited review, have you tried any of these out?

HOLIDAY HAUL!

Hey guys, as you can tell by the title this is another haul. It's only little but i didn't really have time to shop much on holiday. Anyway, on with the haul..

Product #1 - MUA Eyeshadow in Shade 2 Pearl
I've always been a person to put eye shadow in my inner corners and I used to use Virgin from the Naked palette, but then I started using a white from a Sue Moxley palette which wasn't travel friendly as I wasn't using any other eye shadow from it, so I decided to by this and I love it. Not only is it pigmented, it only costs £1! You can get this from Superdrug.

Product #2 - Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter in Cotton Candy
I was originally going to a lip butter for Easter but my local Superdrug and Boots were sold out, so I finally got it on holiday. I didn't know which colour to get as I was in a rush, but so far I like it! You can get this from Boots for £7.99.

Product #3 - MUA Intense Colour Eyeliner Pencil in Rich Brown
When I was younger, I used to use eyeliner in my waterline everyday but as I grew up i realized that it was making my eyes look a lot smaller, and nobody wants that! So I thought that maybe using a brown, it would look less harsh and make my brown eyes pop. It is also really creamy! You can get this from Superdrug or the MUA website for £1.

Product #4 - Revlon Heated Eyelash Curler
I've never really been someone who uses an eyelash curler everyday, but when I have the time and I remember, I do use one. All the ones I have are pretty much broken so lately I haven't bothered at all. So when I saw this in TK Maxx for only £2, I couldn't leave it there! This isn't on the TK Maxx website but I found it on Amazon for £4.99.

I hope you've all enjoyed my haul, it was only little I know but I will be doing reviews on all these products so I thought you would all like to know when I got them!

MY TRAVEL MAKE UP BAG!

Hey guys, so tomorrow I go on holiday! No where exciting, but at least it is a little get away from the town that I live in. Anyway, I was sorting out what I wanted to take with me as I'm going for 4 days and I thought I might as well blog about it. So above is what I'm taking all my beauty products in. Yes, I do know this is a bag organizer but I thought that it was perfect to take with me as right at the front is a space to put your brushes. It's big enough to take everything you want to and more for only £3! I got this from Primark recently and thought that it was pretty cute. Anyway, on with what's in it..

 Face
Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation - This was in my recent haul and has quickly become my face's new best friend.

Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer - I don't wear concealer everyday so I'm taking this just in case I get some sort of beasty spot (touch wood I don't!).

Benefit 'That Gal' mini face primer - I've used this once on a night out and the next day I broke out so I have no idea why I'm taking this as I don't want to risk breaking out. I think deep down I'm hoping that it might work this time haha.

Benefit Highbeam mini - I've never really been into highlighting my face but I'm hoping that if I take it on holiday with me and start using it, that I will grow to using it. I will let you all know what happens!

Maybelline Dream Matte Powder - I take this powder to college for touch ups so I'm taking this just to keep in my bag as I expect to be walking a lot.

E.L.F High Definition Powder - This is what I use everyday to set my face and I love it! Having oily skin, sometimes I find that some powders cake on my face, but this doesn't and it also has no colour.

Sleek Blush in Pixie Pink - As I've said before, I'm not into blush much. Now that I have this, I've started to use it everyday just to give my cheeks a little colour.

 Eyes
Urban Decay Naked Palette - I pretty much don't go far without this palette. I will put my hands up and say that I have taken this to college with me once or twice.. yes it was a silly mistake but you never know when you're going to need it haha! I have a review of this here.

Urban Decay Primer Potion - This is the only primer I have tried for my oily lids and I don't plan on trying another one. I love it so much! This is my second tube of it as I get one every Christmas.

Mac Painterly Paint Pot - I used this after apply my primer on my lid and it really does give a nice base for my lids. As I have very watery eyes in the hay fever seasons, this really does help my winged liner stay on all day!

Maybelline 24hr Colour Tattoo - I've saved this to try out on holiday and I haven't even swatched it yet! I really hope this does live up to what people have said about it!

Benefit They're Real Mascara - I use this for my bottom lashes and for when some of my lashes clump together and it really does work for those things. It doesn't flake or smudge on my bottom lashes either.

Clinique High Impact Mascara mini - I got this from Glamour magazine a few months back and I haven't stopped using it since. It does wonders for my lashes.

Urban Decay Liquid Liner - I've had this for over a year now and I think it's in it's final stage of life now. I love this liner and I'll be sad when it's run out so I think I will have to purchase a new liquid liner on holiday.

Lancome Le Crayon Khol Noir - I don't really use anything on my water liner, so I'm taking this so I can have the option. I have a review of this here.

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Pencil - I use this liner for days when I can't be bothered and I need something a little less heavier than black to define my eyes. It really is a nice colour.

Sleek Oh So Special Eye Shadow Palette - This was also in my my recent haul and I've used it everyday since. I love the coral/pinky shades in it which is what I think makes this palette very unique.

Lips
E.L.F Lipstick in Posh - This is a very brave shade for me and I doubt I will wear it but just in case I have brought it. I tried it sheered out today and it looked nice and not to in your face so you never know, I might just wear it.

Collection 2000 Cream Puff Lip Cream in Cotton Candy - I am in love with this lip colour. It's not boring but it isn't bright, it really is just right for everyday. You can even build up the colour for the night if you fancied it!

E.L.F Matte Lip Colour in Tea Rose - I also really love this colour as it's just so wearable and really does go with my skin tone. It's quite drying but if you just keep applying it every now and again, it does moisturize you lips that little bit. I have a review of this here.

MAC Hue Lipstick - This is my first and only MAC lipstick and I like to use it when I go shopping. Don't ask why, I just do so that's the reason I'm taking it haha.

So that's pretty much everything going into this bag. I know I have packed a lot but I have my reasons ;-) I hope you've had a good day and enjoyed reading this slightly lengthy post today haha. There will be reviews on lots of these products coming up soon! What's in your travel makeup bag? :-)

SUPERDRUG EASTER HAUL!

Hey guys! So yesterday I went to Superdrug and done a bit of damage to my mam's purse, oops! It's only a little haul but I really am happy with what I got, so I thought I would do my very first blogger haul. Some of these products are not on the Superdrug website, so I have linked those ones to the Boots website if you would like a little gander at them.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation in shade 51 Vanille Clair
I tried this out today and so far, I really like it. It's stayed on all day with my oily skin and has impressed me! £9.99 from Superdrug.

L'Oreal Rouge Caresse Lipstick in 03 Lovely Rose
On my list, I originally had the Revlon Lip Butters but in my local Superdrug they had run out of every single one! It was completely empty, sad times! Anyway, I watch Youtube videos every night so I heard about the hype of these lipsticks and thought I may as well go for it. I've tried it out around the house and it seems to be just what I need! £7.99 from Boots.

Collection 2000 Cream Puff in Cotton Candy
I saw ETCLLYMLRS's blog post on these sometime last year and it really interested me. I'm so so glad that I did get this because I absolutely love it! It's like a 'your lips but better' colour which you can build up to become quite vibrant I think. £2.99 from Boots.

Maybelline 24hr Colour Tattoo in 40 Permanent Taupe
I'm still yet to try this, I haven't even swatched it! This is one of the most hyped about product of 2012 and I'm really hoping that this lives to it's reputation. £4.99 from Superdrug.

Sleek Blush in Pixie Pink
I'm also yet to try this blush out. I'm not really a blush person anymore so I thought that I would find a shade that I really liked and play around with it to see which way to apply it will suit me the most. £4.30 from Sleek.

Sleek Oh So Special Eye Shadow Palette
I've been lusting after this for a while and I'm so happy that I have it finally! Today I used 5 of the shadows in the palette and they really are amazing for the price! £6.49 from Sleek.

I'll be reviewing all these products once I've used them enough, so keep an eye out for them! Would you like to see more hauls? Let me know in the comments! Oh, and Happy Easter!

MISSION ACCEPTED!

Hey guys!

So as you all know it's Easter on Sunday and I have just broken up from college, woo! I was thinking about what to do next on/for my blog and I have set myself a mission. My mission over the holidays is to sort out the design of my blog. I'm really not happy with the look of my blog anymore, it doesn't feel like me. I want to make it so that when I look at it I will think 'yeah, that's my blog and I'm proud of it, so let's go blog some more!'. It's been years since I've played around with HTML and I've totally forgotten most tricks and tips I learnt back then. This mean that Google will have to be my companion on the adventure! If you know you're stuff about HTML etc and would like to help me, please leave a comment below and don't be surprised if you have an email from me begging for your help haha.

What are your blogging plans for these holidays?
