SO LONG GOOGLE FRIEND CONNECT(GFC)?

Hey guys, another post today as I have just seen someone post that 'Google Friend Connect' where you all follow on won't be available no longer. This is the first I've heard of it but apparently it's starting tomorrow! Once GFC is gone, this means that you will no longer have updates on posts from the people you have followed and basically have no followers, even after the time and effort you and I have put in.
So if you don't already follow me on  Bloglovin, please do. There is a link in the top left hand corner of my blog, click on it and it will send you to my Bloglovin profile. Thank you so much guys for subscribing! It means a lot, so I hope that you follow me via Bloglovin so that you don't miss out!

CHLOE REVIEWS: CIATE LIPGLOSS

*

Hey guys, long time no reviews! I'm back now though and I will be reviewing everything that I had planned for Bloguary. This was free with Marie Claire magazine last summer, but you can still get this on eBay!

What the website says:- Even though this is not on the Ciate website no more, I managed to find the blurb!
'An ultra-radiant gloss with unprecedented and multidimensional shine. Hydrating formula keeps lips from cracking or chapping….contains antioxidant Vitamin E.'

Texture and Pigmentation:- This applies nicely to your lips and does last a good 3/4 hours without applying again. If you apply too much to your lips it does get a little sticky. The pigmentation is amazing for a lipgloss, it's pretty much opaque! This shade is called 'Ibiza'.

Scent:- The lipgloss smells sweet, but not overly scented. It reminds me a little of candy floss.

Packaging and Price:- The packaging is a sleek tube, which is alright for what it is. The product makes up for the packaging but I don't have any faults with it. As I said earlier, this product isn't on the Ciate website no more, but I have found it eBay for you if you wanted to try it.

Hope you've enjoyed this long waited post! Have you tried this lipgloss?

WHERE HAVE I BEEN?

Hey guys, I'm sorry that I haven't posted in 5 days! I've been ill and very busy. As I have failed to Bloguary, I'm just going to carry on blogging as much as I can with the rest of the products I was going to review. I will then think of a new schedule after that. Sorry for not posting guys, but this shall change now :-)

BLOGUARY - CHLOE REVIEWS:- NATURAL COLLECTION CREAM BLUSH - DAY 21!

Hey guys, welcome to Bloguary day 21! I'm sorry this post has gone up late today, I went back to college yesterday and had some work to do. But anyway, I've had this since Summer '11 and used it as an everyday blusher back then and loved it. So I thought I'd try it again for you guys to see if I loved it just as much!

What the website says:- This cream blush isn't on the boots website anymore. I'm not sure if this has been discontinued, but I do see this sometimes when I go into boots, so you might be lucky to get your hands on this.

Texture and Pigmentation:- The texture is very light on the skin and drys reasonably quick. I have oily skin and this doesn't seem to move around. The pigmentation is okay, which is what I like about this blush. I don't wear blush very often and when I do, I don't want it to be bright and in your face. I like it to be subtle and barely there, which is what this does. It gives you a slight hint of colour which balances and brightens your face. The colour is buildable though.

Scent:- This smells a little like foundation. It's not a strong overwhelming smell, I think it smells quite nice actually. The smell doesn't effect the product though.

Packaging and Price:- The packaging is a little tacky but you get what you pay for with the packaging. The product defiantly makes up for packaging. The price is £1.99 and you can get this from Boots.

BLOGUARY - CHLOE REVIEWS:- E.L.F SHIMMER EYELINER PENCILS - DAY 20!

Hey guys, welcome to Bloguary day 20! I had these for Christmas after eyeing them up for so long! And I haven't been let down by them :-)

What the website says:- ' Instantly brighten eyes with e.l.f.’s shimmering metallic liners that put the spotlight on eyes. The smooth formulation glides on effortlessly without tugging at the delicate eye area. Choose from an assortment of 9 delicious and essential shades designed to add depth, definition and a special sparkle to create a very glamorous look! Pencil includes a convenient sharpener cap for easy use!'

Texture and Pigmentation:- This liner goes on quite smoothly for a Drugstore product. It has good pigmentation and blends out nicely. Once blended there are little glitters in it which look really nice with a smokey eye.

Scent:- As I always say with pencil liners, there is the wooden smell from the pencil but it doesn't transfer onto the product.

Packaging and Price:- The packaging is what you would expect for the price of the product. The lid is a sharpener which I think is very handy, so well done E.L.F! It also has little glitters in the paintwork on the pencil too! For the price of £1.50, you cannot go wrong! You can get this from E.L.F website.

I hope you enjoyed day 20 of Bloguary, see you tomorrow! Have you tried this E.L.F liner?

BLOGUARY - CHLOE REVIEWS:- RIMMEL COLOUR MOUSSE 24HR - DAY 17!

Hey guys, welcome to Bloguary day 17! I've had this for a few years (sounds gross, I know) but never got much use out of it up until about 3 months ago. I really want more shades now!

What the website says:-
' - Contains 5ml.
 - Give your eyes the perfect look and stand out from the crowd.
 - Comes in 4 different shades.
 - Mousse eyeshadow.'
I think that there are a few more than 4 shades now though! Sometimes I see this in shops, but it isn't on the Rimmel website.. #confusing!

Texture and Pigmentation:- This mousse eye shadow is creamy but dries quickly, so you have to work fast with it. I used this as a base before I applied my eye shadows. If you have oily lids like me, use a primer underneath. If not, then your good to go. You can also use this on it's own and even make it look like you've got more than just this on! All you have to do is apply it all over the lid, and then in the crease apply a bit more, making your eye looked defined. The pigmentation is great and long lasting.

Scent:- I think this smells a little like liquid liner, I have no idea why though. The product doesn't smell once applied to the lid.

Packaging and Price:- The packaging reminds me a little of M.A.C paint pots, but clearly a drugstore version. Once you open the lid, there's another little lid inside which stops the product from drying. Like I said you can get this in some shops but I don't know the price. I have also found them on Amazon and eBay.

Thank you for reading day 17 of Bloguary, have you tried this product?

BLOGUARY - CHLOE REVIEWS:- REVLON COLORSTAY MINERAL FOUNDATION - DAY 16!

Hey guys, welcome to Bloguary day 16! I got this mineral foundation sometime last year from TK Maxx and has been discontinued. You can still get it online though!

What the website says:- 'Loose powder foundation that combines pure, lightweight minerals that are good for your skin and ColorStayTM longwear technology that lasts for up to 16 hours. This medium coverage foundation provides a color that won't fade all day making your skin look both healthy and flawless, no matter how long your day is. Makeup is oil-free, fragrance free and non-irritating. SPF 10.'

Texture and Coverage:- This mineral foundation sits well on the skin. I think it gives a light coverage but is buildable without it looking cakey. I put a primer underneath this as I have oily skin and my makeup tends to move a bit without a primer of some sort underneath. I think this would be good for any skin type if you use the right primer.

Scent:- I think it smells okay, but smells like talc and a little chalky. Nothing too bad, and doesn't smell on your face either.

Packaging and Price:- I really do like the packaging on this product, though it did take me a while to figure it out. You unscrew the lid and the twist the top to make the brush bigger to apply to your face. I think this is quite a messy product, but anything mineral is with me! Like I said, I got mine from TK Maxx, but I have found it on Amazon and eBay.

I hope you all enjoyed today's post, have you tried this foundation out?

BLOGUARY - CHLOE REVIEWS:- BARRY M GLITTER NAIL PAINT - DAY 15!

Hey guys, welcome to Bloguary day 15! This Limited Edition Polish came out at Christmas I think, but obviously you can't get it in shops no more, so this review is going to be on all the glitter polishes from Barry M I have tried rather than just this polish itself.. I hope that made sence?

What the website says:- ' Glitzy Glam! Be extreme.
These are ideal to be the knockout party disco diva, whatever your age!Bright shades bursting with minute particles, you’ll certainly get noticed with these enamels wherever you go to party. '

Texture and Pigmentation:- The texture of the polish because of the glitter isn't completely smooth, but it doesn't flake or anything like that. When pairing it with a colour nail polish, I only use 1 coat, but if you wanted to wear it on it's own, then I think it you would need about 2 coats. Don't apply too thickly because the polish will then peel.

Scent:- The scent is the same as every other nail polish really.

Packaging and Price:- The packaging isn't anything great or tacky, because it is only a nail polish at the end of the day. As long as it stops the polish from drying inside and you can see the colour of the polish through the packaging, that's good enough packaging for me. You can pick these polishes up from the Barry M website or in Superdrug fro £2.99.

I hope you've enjoyed Day 15 of Bloguary! Have you tried out any of these glitter paints yet?

BLOGUARY - CHLOE REVIEWS:- INIKA CERTIFIED ORGANIC EYE LINER - DAY 14!

*

Hey guys, welcome to Bloguary Day 14! This eye liner came free with a magazine a few months back and it's the first time I had heard of the brand but they seem to quite a popular. The colour I have is 05 Graphite.

What the website says:- ' A striking charcoal grey, with a hint of silver.
INIKA Certified Organic eyeliners have a rich and creamy consistency unparalleled in the world of natural liners.
Formulated to glide on easily, they deliver even depth of colour and real stay-ability. The colour pigments work in harmony with INIKA eyeshadows to create dramatic and iridescent effects. This organic formula is perfect for the most sensitive eyes.
Each INIKA Eye Liner comes with a complimentary sharpener lid.

Texture and Pigmentation:- This eye liner guilds on your eyes really lovely. The texture is very soft and blend-able, but you have to work quite fast with it. The pigmentation is great. Once you blend it out, you will see slight subtle shimmers in the liner which give it a nice touch.

Scent:- The only scent on this liner is the smell of the wood of the pencil when you smell it. This smell doesn't transfer onto the liner itself.

Packaging and Price:- The packaging isn't too fancy but isn't tacky looking either. I think it's a good thing that there isn't any beautiful design on the pencil because then I wouldn't want to sharpen it and ruin it. You can get this from INIKA for £11.75 and I also think you can get them from John Lewis too.

Hope you enjoyed day 14 of Bloguary! It's actually up on time today ;-) Have you tried this eyeliner?

BLOGUARY - CHLOE REVIEWS:- E.L.F EYE CREASE BRUSH - DAY 13!

Hey guys, welcome to Bloguary Day 13! Once again, I'm very sorry it's late again. I'm hoping the rest of the weeks post will go up at the right time, so bare with me guys :-)

What the website says:- 'Blends and contours in the crease and corners of the eye. This dome shaped bristle brush picks up a lot of eye colour and sweeps it onto the eyelid to create bold definition. Great for smudging shadow into the lash line for a smoky effect.
This brush has been designed and tested by our professional team of makeup artists. The brush has been ergonomically designed to fit perfectly into your hand and facilitates a flawless finish with every application.'

Texture and Quality:- This brush is quite soft, but sometimes I can feel a few little rough hairs in it. The brush is amazing quality for the price. You get a lot more than what you pay for with it.

Packaging and Price:- The packaging is good for the price. The barrel of the brush seems pretty durable but be careful when washing, like with most brushes, to not get any water into the barrel. You can find this brush on the E.L.F website for £1.50.

I hope you all enjoyed Bloguary Day 13! Have you tried this brush?

BLOGUARY - CHLOE REVIEWS:- MUA LIPSTICK - DAY 10!

Hey guys, welcome to Bloguary day 10! I've had these for a while so I've made sure I tested them out enough before I reviewed them for you all!

What the website says:- 'Make a statement with our show stopping lip stick, available in 16 shades. Make Up Academy provides trend shades on a budget, allowing you to achieve the latest looks without breaking the bank!'

Texture and Pigmentation:- I find that these lipsticks are very moisturizing which I think is amazing, especially at this price and from the drugstore! The pigmentation is different for each lipstick I think. My red one is very pigmented, moisturizing and long wearing. The pink one isn't so pigmented or long wearing, but it is just as moisturizing if not a little more.

Scent:- There isn't really a scent to these lipstick. This is a good thing as I hate the old smelling lipsticks that were around years ago!

Packaging and Price:- The packaging is good for the price. I think that it has got some elegance to it and it isn't bulky. You can pick these up from the MUA website or at Superdrug for £1.00.

I hope you've enjoy Bloguary day 10, have you tried these lipsticks? :-)
